Our Story

Shortly after moving to a quaint British village on the border of Kent and East Sussex, Fashion Buyer Hannah and PR Consultant Anne, soon began to fully embrace the changing seasons.

Anne and Hannah both live in 17th century beamed cottages in a thriving village, with small businesses and producers such as a fruit & veg stall, locally sourced fresh fish van, farmers market, artisans, and locally grown flowers on their front doorstep and rambling countryside fresh for foraging on their back door step!

Hannah, with her creative background and passion for interiors, fully renovated her cottage in 2016. She has a good eye for colour, print and design and loves to subtlety update her home each season.

It was Christmas 2018 when Anne was coming over for dinner and Hannah had styled the table with a festive floral display, candles and linen napkins tied with velvet ribbon and styled with some foliage. Anne commented that she would have loved to emulate this seasonal tablescape in her own home, but didn’t know where to start, from sourcing the products or having the skill to put it together as beautifully.

And thus the idea for ‘From The Post House’ was born.
